Eggs, Smiles, and Polka dot dresses

So we got a new camera and thought it would be fun to go take Easter pictures with and give me a chance to use the photo editing software a little more. These are just a few I really liked...the first is actually the one we used for easter cards. I can't believe how much she has grown since we last did pictures at thanksgiving. Even more I can't believe she is only 2 months away from her 1st birthday!

ps...taking pictures with a child who loves the outdoors, can just up and walk away from you with her easter egg, and finds the chase after funny is not easy.

You can't pinch me

These are just a couple pictures from the family St.Patty's day party, unfortunately I didn't take more. It was fun though...good food and trivia with candy prizes.

Zoo Outing

Our trip to the Zoo, now this wasn't her first trip BUT it was my first trip with her. So unfortunately most of these pictures don't look there best due to the fact my actual camera died by the time we got to the petting zoo AND I can't even find the USB cord to upload the good pictures. So these are all camera phone pictures.

this was her "I am ready for the zoo" picture
followed by the "I hate this hat picture" luckily
once there she let it stay on

My attempt at trying to get her to pet the goat hiding under the bench,
as you can see there was no luck

Yet Tate tried to get every goat to come out for him

Summer and Hunter helping brush the goats

It was a long day, she passed out right before we got to the car

Day of Love and Cupcakes

My nephew Tate and my sister-in-law Natalie threw a little Valentine's Day party for all the little girl neices. Of course Tater's was late to his own party... it must have been a good nap.

Here is Tate just after he woke up and joined the fun

and after he made his cupcake and then shoved his face in it
Summer decorating her cupcake

Scarlette trying the icing...which she loved and freaked when I would give her more fast enough

Scarlette and me

Angela with Brynleigh and Brenna,
Brynleigh is her's and the oldest of the 4 baby neices and Brenna belongs to Briauna
and she is the youngest of the 4 baby neices.

the stickers

Walkie Talkie

In my pre-post I failed to mention Scarlette has learned to walk...how I forgot I am not sure. It was just another Sunday after church and she started taking steps alone at 8 1/2 months. She is now almost 10 months and become a pretty good walker. We have started calling her a "walkie talkie" cause all she does is walk around babbling to herself all day.

I had planned to post the video we took of her but the post was taking forever to"process" the video and wouldn't let me post until it finished. I gave up waiting. So instead here is a picture of her playing her favorite game..."Daddy chase me and I run away squealing and screaming" (she actually initiates this game by walking up to him screaming at the top of her lungs and turns around and "runs" away)

Love it!

Sneak peek post

Okay so I know I haven't posted in a while. and I plan to hopefully get it in today or tomorrow, this will be like the sneak peek post so to speak. : )

things to be posted about(that I can remember to post about at least):

1- the Valentines day party my nephew Tate(and sister-in-law Natalie) threw for all the baby neice's.

2- trip to the zoo with KC, Nat, and the kids.

3- The family St. Patty's day party we had(at KC and Nat's...they sure are busy people if you can't tell haha)

4- Easter Pictures of Scarlette!

5- the projects I have been asked to do for my wards visiting teaching conference. basically I will be painting Dorothy's house (when it fell on the wicked witch) 3-d style using card board boxes and, butcher paper, and paint of course AND a mural (on paper) of Emerald City. All of which has to be done by April 1st (I recieved the supply's last thursday). I am excited to do it and nervous of course too since I also watch kids throughout the week. But I know it will all work out, I really enjoy doing these kinds of projects especially when it is for church. : )

So like I said, I hope to get post and pictures up for each little event we have had.

To Jaiden

I should probably update... So my last couple blogs stated we were going to be having our 2nd baby. Unfortunately that was not Heavenly Fathers plan for us. We lost the baby. Well I don't like say "lost" we just now have to wait a little longer then usual to meet our 2nd child. We have named the baby Jaiden... a name we loved for a boy until Jacob found out it could be a girls name too(he wants a strictly boy name) So we set it aside just in case we ever changed our minds. Considering we never got to learn what gender this baby would have been we felt it fitting to use a name we loved that works for both genders. Based on the ultrasound Jaiden stopped growing at 5weeks 2day, Jan 2nd 2010...

Jaiden O'Haver-
Our wonderful baby whom we have not met yet. We love you so much, I know you know that. I know you are watching us, smiling down at us. We miss you dearly, although I am sure big sister has either no idea, or being that she is still young enough maybe knows it all and already knows you and just gets it. We can't wait to meet you one day, you will always be in our hearts.

Your Mom, Dad, and Big Sister Scarlette

sorry...i needed to get that out.
